Mother Nature is a B%@#$- UPDATED

So we are sitting here and it's about 30 minutes before we are to head out the door. Our cameras are packed, questions to ask Eden's foster mom are ready, toys are in the bag, and our gifts are all set. The phone rings and it is Eden's case worker. It has been snowing all morning pretty heavy. We are told that we will not be leaving this morning to go see her because the roads are too bad. We are now waiting for a call to find out when we can go. The waiting continues.

UPDATED
It is now 11:00 and we still have not heard from the case worker. It is still snowing. I am less and less hopeful that we will get to see Eden today. The snow has not let up, I have not seen one snowplow, and I have heard that there are no taxis running today because of the weather. We are just sitting here in our room watching The Office season two. Can't leave because we are waiting to hear if/when we will get to go. Good thing I brought some canned chicken, mayo, and Wheat Thins. We were starving.

As you can see from the pics it has snowed a lot more than 1-3 inches as the weather report said this morning. This is from our window in our room. You can't see the mountains or the tall buildings in the distance because of the snow. Getting board just sitting here.

Updated Again
It's now 2:00 and we still have not heard anything. It is snowing off and on. Stuck in this room.

This is just crazy! I'm so sorry. I've been thinking about you and Ron all day today. I hope you get to see her this afternoon. Just remember that in a few days you will have her in your arms and on your way home and there will be no more waiting. Can't wait to meet her.

Following from the Holt Bb here--I can't believe it--love the photos of snowy Seoul, but I know you are just dying to meet your daughter. I hope the roads are clear enough very soon.

Oh no, that's so stressful!!!!! I hope the snow stops soon and that you can get to the office to see Eden. Seoul is not a city that gets much snow, so I'm sure they are just really unprepared. Praying you get to see her tomorrow!

Man. I'm so sorry you are stuck there. Time just crawls when you are so excited about something, then find yourself stuck and powerless to move things along. I've been checking your blog all day and keeping tabs. I sooo hope that the snow is dealt with soon and the roads are cleared, etc. You have lot of friends at the Holt forum who are rooting for you and sending you good wishes!

I just heard on the Weather Channel about the snow in Seoul and immediately went and pulled up your blog to see how you all are doing! I know now that you've seen Eden, so all is well, but - just for memory sake, when you look back one day, I thought I'd let you know that the Weather channel said that this 10 inches is the most snow on record in Seoul in 70 years (!), and they've only been keeping records since 1937! What timing!!
I LOVED seeing the pics of you all with Eden!! And, your quote was perfect! God is good!!
