Eden's Crib

This beautiful bedding was lovingly made by my friend Lynn. It is more beautiful that I imagined. So feminine and pretty. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My husband and I are in the early stages of discussing adoption from Korea. We have two children, Lauren (9) and Grant (2) and hope to add another daughter to the mix. I have been doing extensive research and happened across your blog. Imagine my surprise to find out you are in our home state of Michigan! I am very interested in any tips you may be able to offer about the process. Which adoption agency did you choose and why? I hope to hear from you soon. Eden is absolutely gorgeous!

A bed fit for a princess. Lynn did a great job. It is perfect just like Eden. Can't wait to see her standing up in it with her crazy hair!!! Such wonderful times ahead!!

Hi Jill! I tried clicking on your name to send you an email but it wouldn't work. I couldn't view your contact information from Blogger. I hope you see this. We are using AIAA for our adoption and have only good things to say. They have been great to work with... professional, friendly, timely, and true to their word when it comes to timeframes. There are three agencies that will place NSN children in Michigan. We chose AIAA because they have a great reputation and also because they currently have a very short wait time. To be honest it is the shortest I have seen by far. Referrals for girls are coming in about 3 - 4 months and referrals for boys are coming in about 2 months. It looks like you have a boy and a girl already so I am not sure if you will be able to request a girl. We were able to request a girl because we have only boys. If you are interested in a waiting child you will be able to request gender. Also referrals for waiting children are even shorter... usually just a few weeks. The Korean process has been very smooth and painless. Our daughter looks very healthy and well cared for. Our doctor said the amount of information in her medical report was "equal to what you would find in the US" and she looks very much developmentally on target.

Keep me posted! Feel free to ask me any questions!
