This picture was taken on April 4, 2009. I am standing outside of our post office getting ready to mail our formal application to adopt a child from Korea. My hopes and dreams tied up in a pink ribbon, leaving my hands, and bringing about a new chapter in my life. Little did I know... on this very same day... my daughter was born.

That just shows how everything happens for a reason. She was meant to be your little girl.

God is good! A day you never forget for more than one reason. So happy Kate and Hope now have a new little friend!!
The day our application was accepted by our agency Jake was born. Don't you love these little Godsends?

P.S. sorry about the delete. I didn't know how to modify my post.
Oh, and I had to add, since I was just thinking, we often wonder why we are made to endure the hardships of life. You have a rare gift in knowing if you had not faced all you have in the past few years, this moment never would have come.
I used to hate the words "it's worth the wait," while I was waiting. When the wait was over, I saw how true those words became.
Congratulations.
You mentioned these dates a few weeks back but I still get chills thinking about it. Those two events go hand in hand - God's Plan.

Amazing! She is such a blessing!
Wow! I love the pink ribbon. I think I may have to copy your idea. We are sending in applications today and tomorrow! How is it that she was born the day you sent it in? That seems really fast - awesome!!
